Nick & Louise and Head Chef Paul Nicholson would like to welcome you to the Dog and Crook Public House nestled in the small village of Bambridge. Built around 1736 you cannot help but instantly feel the warm and friendly atmosphere offered by the pub and staff. The pub enjoys many original features including exposed beams and brickwork and a coffin drop. A large deck area situated to the rear of the pub, is an ideal area for eating alfresco on those balmy summer days and evenings. There is also a grassed area which has the added benefit of a purpose built enclosed Hog Roast Pit and BBQ. The pub has a traditional bar area with a selection of Real Ales, Beers, Spirits and Fine Wines. The restaurant looks out over the decking and seats 60 people. An open fire gives off plenty of warmth during cold snaps. Ample off street parking is available. The pub can be easily found from any direction. Located just three miles off Junction 11 of the M3, approximately two and a half miles is Eastleigh Town Centre with its two Intercity Railway Stations. Winchester is only slightly further but again is within a short drive or taxi journey. Click Here for a satellite shot of the pub and surrounding area and Here for the Multi Map of the pub. |
